OnePlus reveals Ace 7 and Ace 7 Pro colours ahead of launch
OnePlus has shown the Ace 7 and Ace 7 Pro in their launch colours ahead of the October 29 Chinese unveiling.
OnePlus has shown the full colour line-up for its Ace 7 and Ace 7 Pro phones ahead of their launch in China on October 29. The company’s official Chinese website is already promoting the Ace 7 series and lists a 7pm launch event for October 29, giving the first-party campaign a clearer shape than the usual leak cycle.1
The standard Ace 7 is presented in black, white and a gradient finish. The Ace 7 Pro also comes in black and white, alongside a third finish that OnePlus’ Chinese campaign gives a name that is commonly translated as “Windbreaker”. These are launch colours rather than confirmed details about a wider international release, so buyers outside China should not assume the same range will be sold locally.12
OnePlus’ promotional artwork places the two phones at the centre of the campaign, while the company has not yet published every specification in English. GSMArena reports that the Ace 7 is expected to use the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5V, with the Pro using the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. The same report says both models are tipped to feature 200-megapixel main cameras, although those camera details remain attributed to earlier reports rather than a complete official specification sheet.2
The colour reveal is therefore more useful as a launch signal than as a technical announcement. OnePlus is confirming the visual identity of both phones and putting its marketing behind the October 29 date, but the more interesting questions — pricing, availability beyond China, camera hardware and the precise differences between the two models — still need a proper product announcement.12
For now, the Ace 7 Pro looks like the more ambitious model on paper, while the standard Ace 7 is being positioned as the more accessible member of the pair. That distinction is provisional until OnePlus publishes the full specifications and pricing. The official campaign confirms the launch date; it does not yet confirm a global rollout.
Our opinion
This is a useful, properly first-party teaser rather than a reason to treat every rumoured specification as fact. The Ace 7 series already has a confirmed launch window and official artwork, but the story will become substantially more important once OnePlus explains where these phones will be sold and how much the Pro model will cost. Until then, the colours are the clearest confirmed detail — and the launch event is the one date worth watching.
