LG C6 OLED TV drops to $999 ahead of Black Friday

LG’s 55-inch C6 OLED TV is $400 off at $999.99 in an early Black Friday deal, with bigger sizes and direct-purchase extras also discounted.

LG’s C6 OLED TV has dropped to $999.99 for the 55-inch model in the company’s early Black Friday promotion, putting the 2026 set $400 below its usual price. The offer is available through November 1, while LG is also bundling a free Xbox Wireless Controller and wall-mounting promotion on eligible direct purchases. 1

The deal is not limited to the smallest listed size. LG’s 65-inch C6 is priced at $1,399.99, down $300, while the 77-inch model is listed at $1,999.99. The promotion page also lists discounted 42-inch and 48-inch versions, although the saving varies by size. 1

What the C6 offers

The C6 is LG’s 2026 OLED evo television, built around the company’s Alpha 11 AI Processor Gen3. LG says the panel uses its Brightness Booster technology and more than 8.3 million self-lit pixels, with Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos and FILMMAKER MODE included. It also targets gamers with a 165Hz refresh rate, a 0.1ms response time, NVIDIA G-Sync and AMD FreeSync Premium. 1

The 55-inch price is particularly notable because it moves a current flagship-style OLED into a much more competitive bracket before the main Black Friday period begins. The Verge reports that Amazon and Best Buy are matching LG’s $999.99 price, while LG’s own listing adds the direct-purchase extras. 2

The deal is still time-limited. LG says the Black Friday price guarantee runs through November 1, and the free Xbox controller offer runs through November 15 on eligible televisions. Buyers should check the terms and the exact size-specific price before paying, as the promotion is subject to LG’s qualifying-product rules. 1

Our opinion

This looks like a meaningful early discount rather than a token launch promotion, particularly for anyone already shopping for a 55-inch OLED. The C6’s gaming features and OLED picture advantages make the £/$1,000 class more interesting than it was at launch, but the privacy concerns raised around LG’s smart-TV data practices are worth considering before buying. The Verge reports that LG says voice recognition and interest-based advertising are optional and disabled by default; that reassurance is not the same as a full answer to every data-collection concern. 2

If the price is the main attraction, compare the final checkout total and retailer warranty before committing. The 55-inch C6 is the clearest value in this promotion, while the larger models make more sense only if the room and viewing distance justify the extra spend.
