Xiaomi 18 Pro European prices and battery capacities leak

A report claims Xiaomi's upcoming 18 Pro phones will bring eye-watering European prices and smaller batteries than their Chinese counterparts.

Xiaomi's upcoming Xiaomi 18 Pro and Xiaomi 18 Pro Max could arrive in Europe with prices that push both phones firmly into ultra-premium territory. A GSMArena report says the 18 Pro may start at €1,449 for 256GB, rising to €1,649 for 512GB, while the 18 Pro Max is allegedly headed for €1,849 with 512GB of storage.1

The same report claims the European Xiaomi 18 Pro will use a 6,000mAh-rated battery, compared with a 7,000mAh cell in the Chinese model. Xiaomi may advertise that capacity as 6,100mAh, 6,150mAh or 6,200mAh, depending on the typical-capacity figure it chooses. The Pro Max is said to have a 7,050mAh-rated battery, down from 8,500mAh in China.1

Both phones are reportedly set to keep fast charging. The Xiaomi 18 Pro is tipped to support 90W wired charging, while the Pro Max could retain 100W wired charging and 50W wireless charging. The report also points to European Energy Labels having appeared, suggesting a regional launch is getting closer, although Xiaomi has not confirmed these prices or specifications in the source material available here.1

The official Xiaomi product page confirms that the Xiaomi 18 Pro is a real product family, but it does not independently verify the alleged European pricing or the battery split described by GSMArena.2 That distinction matters: leaked phone pricing can change before launch, and regional configurations often differ from Chinese models.

Our opinion

If these figures hold, the European Xiaomi 18 Pro range will need more than a big battery and fast charging to justify its pricing. A €1,449 starting point puts the Pro directly into heavyweight territory, while the Pro Max would be competing with the most expensive mainstream flagships. The battery reductions compared with the Chinese models may also make European buyers feel they are paying more for less. Until Xiaomi publishes European launch details, treat this as a notable leak rather than a confirmed price list.
