Samsung Certified Re-Newed phones arrive on Amazon US
Samsung’s refurbished Galaxy S24 and S25 phones are now available through Amazon US, with selected models backed by genuine parts and a one-year warranty.
Samsung’s Certified Re-Newed smartphone programme is expanding beyond Samsung’s own shop: refurbished Galaxy phones are now available through Amazon.com in the US.1
The Amazon range covers selected Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S25 models, with listed prices running from US$490 for a 128GB Galaxy S24 FE to US$1,030 for a 512GB Galaxy S25 Ultra.1 The programme does not currently include Samsung’s foldable phones on Amazon, and the Galaxy S26 range is not listed there yet.1
What Samsung’s programme includes
Samsung says Certified Re-Newed phones are serviced by its specialists with genuine Samsung parts. That process includes a replacement battery, 147 quality checks, a new IMEI and a one-year limited warranty, according to the programme’s description.1 Samsung’s own US page also highlights certified new batteries, genuine parts and the one-year manufacturer warranty.2
The Amazon listings cover graphite, onyx black, silver shadow and titanium black configurations across the Galaxy S24 FE, Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, Galaxy S24 Ultra, Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+ and Galaxy S25 Ultra. Storage options vary by model, from 128GB to 512GB.1
Samsung’s official programme page presents Certified Re-Newed as a way to buy older flagship hardware with a lower environmental impact, while still receiving the company’s servicing and warranty coverage.2 The Amazon expansion should make that route more visible to US shoppers who already use Amazon for phone purchases, although the available stock and pricing remain specific to each listing.
Our opinion
This is a practical distribution change rather than a new phone launch. Samsung’s refurbished programme already had a clear proposition — genuine parts, a new battery and a limited warranty — but putting selected models in Amazon’s shop removes one layer of friction for buyers who do not start their search on Samsung.com. The important caveat is scope: the Amazon selection is narrower than Samsung’s wider Certified Re-Newed catalogue, and the prices are not automatically bargains compared with new devices or other refurbished offers. Buyers should compare the exact model, storage, warranty terms and current price before ordering.
