OPPO Find X10 Ultra leak points to major camera upgrades

A leak points to a 200MP main camera, a larger 10x telephoto and a 100MP square selfie camera for OPPO’s rumoured flagship.

The OPPO Find X10 Ultra could arrive with a camera system built around a 200MP main sensor, a larger 50MP 10x telephoto camera and an unusual 100MP square selfie camera, according to a new leak. The claims come from Digital Chat Station and were reported by Android Authority, so they should be treated as unconfirmed specifications rather than an OPPO announcement. 12

The leaked information reportedly concerns an early Find X10 Ultra prototype. It suggests a 200MP main camera using a 1/1.12-inch sensor with LOFIC technology, alongside a 200MP periscope camera that could offer roughly 3x magnification. The reported 10x camera would use a 50MP sensor, although its final size may depend on production. 12

The reported camera upgrades

The most interesting claim is the possible 50MP 10x camera. The Find X9 Ultra used a 50MP 10x camera with a smaller 1/2.75-inch sensor, according to Android Authority. A larger 1/1.95-inch sensor would bring more light to the long-range camera and could improve detail and low-light performance, but the leak says OPPO may retain the smaller design if production delays get in the way. 1

The reported main camera would keep a 200MP resolution but add LOFIC technology, which is designed to improve dynamic range in photos and video. That would be a significant change from the Find X9 Ultra’s 200MP Sony LYT-901 sensor, which did not include LOFIC, although the identity of the proposed replacement sensor remains unclear. 1

The leak also points to a 100MP front-facing camera with a square 1:1 sensor. A square sensor can capture a wider source frame and let users choose portrait or landscape framing later, regardless of how they hold the phone. That would be an unusual approach for a flagship selfie camera, but it is still only a reported prototype feature. 12

How it fits OPPO’s current camera strategy

OPPO’s official Find X10 Series launch material shows the company pushing high-resolution imaging hardware and Hasselblad branding. The announced Find X10 and Find X10 Pro Max use 200MP cameras and OPPO’s LUMO True Image Engine, with the Pro Max going as far as a triple-200MP rear-camera system. 3

That official launch does not confirm the leaked Find X10 Ultra specifications. In fact, OPPO’s announcement names Find X10 and Find X10 Pro Max rather than the Ultra model discussed by the leak. The official material is useful context for the direction of the camera range, not proof that this particular prototype will reach the market. 3

The Find X10 Ultra is expected to follow the Find X9 Ultra’s second-quarter launch window, although OPPO has not confirmed a release date, price or availability. Any final camera configuration could change before launch, particularly the reported 10x sensor, which is explicitly described as dependent on production. 1

Our opinion

The 10x upgrade is the claim worth watching. A genuinely larger long-range sensor would matter more in daily photography than another headline-grabbing megapixel figure, especially if it improves the camera’s performance at dusk or indoors. But this remains a leak built around prototype information, not a product announcement. Until OPPO confirms the Find X10 Ultra, treat the specification list as an intriguing target rather than a finished phone.
