Onimusha GARRACK mechanical watches launch in November

GARRACK will launch three Japanese-made automatic watches inspired by Onimusha characters, using raden and Kanazawa foil in the dials.

GARRACK is launching three Japanese-made automatic watches inspired by Capcom’s Onimusha series in late November 2026. The collection turns three of the franchise’s protagonists — Samanosuke Akechi, Jubei Yagyu and Musashi Miyamoto — into separate character-led watch designs.1

The collaboration was unveiled at a Tokyo Game Show 2026 special stage by Ueni Trading, the company behind GARRACK. The watches are built around traditional Japanese decorative techniques rather than simply printing character art on a dial: raden mother-of-pearl inlay supplies an iridescent finish, while Kanazawa foil adds a brighter, more textured accent.1

Three *Onimusha* characters, three watch designs

Each model takes its visual direction from one of the series’ central warriors. The official promotional image shows the watches’ open mechanical construction, with the visible movement set beneath a decorated dial. GARRACK says the pieces use Japanese-made automatic movements and are assembled in Japan, with each watch finished by hand.1

That gives the collaboration a more specific identity than a standard gaming tie-in. The watch faces are intended to express the characters through materials and detailing, while the mechanical movement keeps the product rooted in traditional watchmaking. GARRACK’s own brand catalogue presents the company as a lifestyle label focused on character collaborations and premium everyday goods.2

Launch timing and missing details

Ueni Trading has set the launch for late November 2026, but it has not yet announced prices, an exact release date, case dimensions, water resistance, power reserve or the movement manufacturer. The company also has not confirmed production numbers or international availability.1

Those omissions matter for a mechanical watch, particularly one positioned around hand finishing and specialist materials. For now, the announcement establishes the concept and the three character themes rather than providing enough information for a buying decision. GARRACK says further details will arrive through its website and social channels as launch approaches.1

Our opinion

This is the sort of game collaboration that works because the product has its own point of view. Raden, Kanazawa foil and visible mechanical parts give the watches a visual language that suits Onimusha without reducing the franchise to a logo on a dial. The unanswered questions around price and specifications are significant, though, so the collection is currently more intriguing than immediately recommendable. The late-November launch window should bring the practical details needed to judge whether the craftsmanship justifies the eventual asking price.
