itel has announced the VistaTab 32, an 11-inch Android tablet with a 2,560 × 1,600 display, a MediaTek Helio G100 processor and an 8,200mAh battery. The company lists the device on its Philippines website, but has not announced a price or a specific release date, and availability outside that market remains unconfirmed.

The tablet uses an IPS panel with a 16:10 aspect ratio. itel says it reaches 450 nits of brightness, has a 1,500:1 contrast ratio and covers 86% of the front surface, with support for 16.7 million colours. The display refresh rate has not been confirmed.

Hardware and battery

The VistaTab 32 pairs the octa-core Helio G100, clocked at up to 2.2GHz with Mali-G57 graphics, with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. It has an 8MP rear camera, a 5MP front camera, dual speakers and a USB-C port. The listed configuration supports Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.2, but there is no mobile connectivity option in the announced specification.

itel rates the 8,200mAh battery for up to 25 hours of video playback, 19 hours of meetings and 18 hours of gaming. Those are company laboratory figures, so real-world endurance will depend on brightness, apps and network use. Face recognition is listed for unlocking, while no dust- or water-resistance rating is given.

The metal unibody is 6.8mm thick. itel lists Ash Grey and Pearl White finishes, but has not published a weight. The company also advertises a keyboard case and stylus for study and office work; accessory availability can vary by market.

Software and availability

The official product page positions the VistaTab 32 as a productivity tablet, with a pre-installed office suite for everyday document editing. It also lists Android 16 and broad app compatibility. That positioning makes the tablet more interesting than a simple low-cost media slate, although the lack of pricing and a confirmed sales date makes its value impossible to judge yet.

Notebookcheck reports the announcement and links to itel's official Philippines product page. Its published specifications also note that the supplied battery and brightness figures come from itel's own testing, and that product images and descriptions may change with supplier replacements.

Our opinion

The VistaTab 32 looks like a practical entry in the affordable Android-tablet space, especially on paper: a sharp 2.5K panel, a large battery and a bundled productivity angle are a sensible combination. But this is an announcement, not a buying recommendation. Without a price, a confirmed launch date, independent testing or wider-market availability, the useful verdict is simply to watch it. The display refresh rate, weight and accessory pricing will matter just as much as the headline specifications when it reaches retailers.
